For each mobile phone or gadget to be covered it needs to have been purchased by you for £1,500 or less (or have a retail market value equivalent where it was a prize or gift). We do not provide cover for drones. We can also not provide cover for gadgets which are more than 5 years old at the point of claim.

You do pay an excess of £75. They will either replace or repair the product. Also, if you are a regular overdraft user, if you have the tech pack, you do get the first £200 of your overdraft fee free, whereas you pay 75p per day otherwise (unless you are a premier account holder or have the Travel Pack as well).

Can I get mobile phone insurance if I have multiple phones to insure? Yes — and insurers often provide discounts when you insure multiple phones. Switched On Insurance offers a Family Gadget bundle that lets you save by insuring several devices on one policy, and i-Digital offers multi-gadget policies from as little as £4.66 a month (true as of May 2021).

I made a complaint which neither Barclays nor the company the contracted are addressing. I was made to stay without a phone for over 7 working days and still resent another refurbished phone. Folks if you see Barclays even in your dream offering you insurance run away from them.
